Sacred Journey to the Navajo Nation, May 5-10, 2008

Sedona, Arizona

Imagine meditating under the stars deep within a sacred canyon, and participating in healing ceremonies in one of the earth’s natural cathedrals. These experiences are an integral part of your Enlightened Life journey to the Navajo nation in northern Arizona.

Canyon de Chelly
Our journey begins with a descent on horseback into Canyon de Chelly, led by a Navajo medicine man. We will spend two and a half days riding to sacred sites, and two nights camping in this special place. Canyon de Chelly holds great spiritual significance to both the Navajo and the Hopi people. Among the many holy sites is Spider Rock, twin towers rising 800 feet above the canyon floor. This is the home of the Navajo Goddess, Spider Woman, who weaves the destiny of each person in her web. We will camp at the base of Spider Rock, and invoke the presence of Spider Woman in ceremony. Our meditation will begin with healing songs offered by our Navajo guides. Come feel her presence, and receive a vision of your true spiritual purpose in this life…

Monument Valley

Our journey continues as we enter Monument Valley, one of the most powerful vortexes on earth. This otherworldly portal is a place of powerful personal transformation. Towering red sandstone formations mark inter-dimensional doorways where transmissions of subtle cosmic energy may be attained. As we journey through the valley, we will meditate, invoking the ancestral spirits to guide us into the deep initiations available in this sacred place…
