Mystery School

Heart of the Rose is a modern mystery school offering education and practical experience in the original Rosicrucian traditions of enlightenment. Though there are schools and organisations that use the word Rosicrucian, and that may work according to Rosicrucian models, the true Rosicrucian Order has no external form. The true Rosicrucian Order is a state of being, a level of spiritual awareness that, once attained, is the only source for admission into its lineage.

The Rosicrucian Order originated among the wise of ancient Arabia, and was formally introduced in Europe in the seventeenth century with the publication of the Rosicrucian manifesto, Fama Fraternitis, in 1610. Approximately five years later, another Rosicrucian document, Confessio Fraternitis, was published. These documents by anonymous authors give the history, principles, and philosophy of the Order. The manuscripts state that the Order is invisible, and though it has members throughout the world, it can never have any exterior organisation or hierarchy. As the Rosicrucian, Dr. Paul Case, taught, "One becomes a Rosicrucian: one does not join the Rosicrucians." The manifestos describe the process whereby one may endeavor to become a Rosicrucian, and the distinctive characteristics by which true members of the Order may be recognised.

It is in the interest of continued development of the Rosicrucian nature among humanity that Heart of the Rose offers advanced personal training and consultation in both traditional and modern rites and practices of spiritual enlightenment to its members. The curriculum includes a comprehensive Qabalistic and Rosicrucian knowledge base, integrating modern understandings and insights into the educational material, rituals, and meditative practices. Heart of the Rose consciously incorporates the feminine force in perfect balance with the masculine, bringing greater clarity and harmony into meditations and rituals, and highlighting the specialised vibrations of each force throughout the lesson material.

Heart of the Rose has a unique imperative to expand and unveil the ancient teachings for those who are ready to begin living the enlightened life. While the training includes in-depth study of the core philosophies of the west, it is also highly experiential, allowing the student to fully integrate the "essence" of the wisdom. Reverend Chavah Aima works directly with each member so that individual differences in understanding and perspective can be validated and supported. Heart of the Rose endeavors to be inclusive, not exclusive, to aid the student to move from mystery into mastery.
