Enlightened World

To bring the enlightened way of living into the world is the heart-felt goal of all conscious beings. Humanity is very much a work in progress; and from the eternal perspective, we are a very young species. Transforming oneself from a natural human, captivated by dualistic appearances, into a spiritual being, fully aware and living from unity consciousness, is the beginning of a long evolutionary journey - a journey that bears witness to many struggles and triumphs as expanded consciousness descends.

Naturally, as one becomes self-aware, connected to source, and liberated from the illusions of duality, a vision of enlightened humanity emerges. This is a beautiful revelation of the truth of oneness, an inspiring concept that fills us with hope for the future. Yet, when we look at humanity as it is today, and reflect upon the dualistic beliefs that create and maintain the most hideous expressions of separateness, that hope may soon become despair. To bring the vision of enlightened humanity into the physical world requires unconditional compassion, great patience, an enduring will, and enlightened actions – this is the "real, conscious, sustained effort," highlighted in the quote above. Fortunately, many people are now viewing and understanding events through a greater consciousness, and working to integrate the higher vision into new creative endeavours.

Consequently, there is much talk today about living in different ways, bringing new ideas to the fields of education, health care, religion, law, government, and other human endeavours. Sometimes these "new" concepts simply revisit and reflect the forms and methods of their dualistic counterparts. For example, in the United States at present, in response to the extraordinary difficulties created by terror attacks and questionable wars, many people unconsciously remain polarized – seeking solutions through separative and adversarial means.

In the objective enlightened view, the present crisis is reflective of the nature of an inherently divisive political system and its supporting culture, and entirely new methods are called for to truly begin to change the course of events. Some inspired Americans are moving ever closer to finding dynamic transformative solutions to this time of great challenge. Though at present their numbers are few, their efforts are critically important to the long-term goal.

Similar types of duality entrenched systems are present in varying degrees in every field, creating similar impacts, and inspiring parallel innovative solutions, in every nation on earth.

Enlightened systems established to truly serve humanity are not small adjustments to the status quo. Enlightened methods are based upon the principles of unity consciousness, honesty, cooperation, non-violence, forgiveness, respect, and honourable beneficence. These principles are foreign to many people, and are actively resisted by conventional political parties and their leaders, and opposed by corporate conglomerates and others invested solely in materialism.

Such examples are only the most obvious among many powerful entities and systems that benefit from dualistic constructs such as competition, dominion, manipulation, racism, nationalism, and many other separative paradigms. The damage being caused by these restrictive egoistic concepts is rapidly increasing throughout the world, and a demand is arising among conscious people to stop the destruction, and begin to create a new way of life.

To recognize oneself first as a citizen of the planet, rather than identifying with a level of consciousness that is limited by the separative notion of national place of birth, is a tremendous undertaking, requiring a tenacious commitment to self-awareness in all areas of one’s life. Yet, we must begin.
